Founder of Artist Accounts, Euan is a Chartered Accountant who is passionate about music and all things creative. After completing degrees in Music and Business Administration at Victoria University of Wellington, Euan worked as a corporate tax specialist at PricewaterhouseCoopers before taking up a Fulbright scholarship to study music in New York.

Seeing the need for someone with unique arts industry experience, combined with an understanding of the complex New Zealand tax legislation and Accounting Standards, Euan initially began working as a Tax Agent for colleagues in the music industry. He quickly became in demand for his industry and tax knowledge along with his absolute confidentiality. This combined with his friendly and approachable manner resulted in Artist Accounts being born. Euan has successfully provided tax, accounting and finance services for a diverse range of clients for over 15 years.

As a musician Euan has held positions in the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony and is currently a member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestras. He was a busy freelancer during his two years in New York and is in demand across Australasia by orchestras, movie recording ensembles, chamber music groups and as a teacher.

Outside of performing onstage or at his desk with numbers, Euan is most likely to be found on his bike, up a mountain, in a river or a combination of all three!
